Allendale

Many of Northumberland’s most interesting sights are located within easy driving distance of Allendale, making it a great place to base yourself while you are in town. Among the most interesting places to explore are the fabulous Vindolanda and the fantastic Hexham Abbey. Two other worthy points of interest nearby Allendale are the Hexham Market Place and Old Gaol.
