"From our friendly welcome, where we we recognised from our previous visit a few years ago, to our farewell when we were virtually waved off, it was a great stay. The room was clean, well decorated and so warm, to see the frost and ice on our car when we opened the curtains, was quite a shock. The bed was soft and comfortable and we both slept very well. Breakfast, mine the full English, my wife, porridge, was excellent. In every respect we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will happily go again when we visit the Hexham area. "

We had a peaceful few days here with everything we needed. Thoroughly recommend the cottage as a place to stay and get away from it all."
