"Staff were really lovely and helpful. Room was very clean and quiet, and the hotel was perfectly situated in the centre of Hexham. The only issues were the very few parking spaces available, and the fact we could only park for up to 2hrs with a permit during the day, if there wasn’t any space in the tiny car park. But we loved the hotel itself and would recommend. "

"An absolutely beautiful cottage set in a lovely rural setting. It's very close to Hadrian's wall, the Sycamore Gap, Vindolanda and other local areas of interest. We had a peaceful few days here with everything we needed. Thoroughly recommend the cottage as a place to stay and get away from it all."

Beautifully decorated with beautiful ornate furniture and very comfy bed. Tea , coffee and water replenished every day. The breakfast and food in the restaurant was excellent. Staff were excellent, lovely and friendly. We would definitely go back. "
