"The Hotel is a treat for the eyes and a great place to relax in the many rooms. A beautiful bar and a great breakfast kept us satisfied after a day of exploring the area. A super comfortable bed made our stay even better. The golf course looks beautiful and the hiking trails are interesting. Easy to park your car. The staff were helpful and very polite. "Had a lovely stay in this lovely old building. I only dealt with one member of staff, but she was very nice and friendly and made us feel welcome. Breakfast is also very nice. Heating wasn’t working but we were supplied with a portable heater to make the room nice and cozy. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay "

"Breakfast and our evening meal were very good, service pretty quick. Our dog was allowed in all areas if I remember correctly. There was not much parking directly outside and it seemed that visitors for High Force used it so that they didn't have to pay for parking! I believe the receptionist said we could use the paid parking if we gave our Car Reg."
