"The facility is very clean and the staff were quite nice and helpful. The beach access is good at this spot and they have outdoor dining against the beach. Overall we liked it enough the first time we stayed to go back again on another trip. "

"Habitación agradable con todo lo necesario para un par de noches. El proceso de checking debe mejorar notablemente, no puede ser k tenga el cliente que preocuparse por llamar a una centralita para que le envíen el formulario de check-in, debería proporcionarse automáticamente con cada reserva, sobre todo xk está en mitad de la carretera y carece de recepción. Por lo demás agradable estancia a precio económico."

This was such a suprise hotel - we didn’t realise it had just been open 3 months. Very high standard hotel from the rooms to the public spaces… and the food was excellent.
Big call out to Ruben the night manager who was welcoming when we arrived after midnight after a long drive from Biarritz and couldn’t do enough for us. All the staff were equally helpful and bright.
We will be back every year…

Great location in the centre of the town of Denia, have private parking at an extra cost but well worth it. Lovely breakfast in the courtyard. Staff very accommodating. All rooms very unique with art pieces.
The only thing is that the rooms are not serviced every day but can be requested.
Overall I would definate recommend this hotel

Only stayed two nights but thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The hotel is a bit hidden but has access to the beach and is not far from the town of Denia. However,it's main attraction is the quality of the welcome and the service from the staff and the excellent and reasonably priced food. It has a decor which is classical in appearance even though the hotel dates back only to 1970. Parking is free and so is the Wi-fi in most of the hotel.

All the staff at the hotel are always friendly, helpful and give you a heartfelt greeting on arrival. We have stayed here many times when visiting Pego and the surrounding area. The central location in Pego is perfect for taking in the local culture and the many restaurants that serve up local produce with great panache. Local beaches are a short drive away and a national park, La Marjal, is also nearby.

This place was amazing N.B., beautiful and clean! What I loved about it is how helpful and efficient the staff were! They literally do everything to help you in this place! I highly recommend visiting if you have a chance! My stay was short but it was the absolute best!

Great location 25m pool which as I love swimming was great. Bed slightly hard and only a double so slightly smaller than we would have liked but apart from that a superb experience.

Very friendly welcome from staff and very clean. Room only had a small window so bit dark. Nice breakfast room and good choice. No tea and coffee facilities in room and parking around the streets busy but we did find a free space.

We are two senior ladies who where looking for a good hotel with a golf course close by.
The Denia Marriott came up to all our expectations and we enjoyed reduced golf and buggy rates on La Sella golf course. The hotel booked our requested tee times in advance.
We could not fault the service all the hotel staff gave us. We enjoyed the relaxed outdoor dining.

The best area to stay in Alfatares is the Old Town, particularly around the Plaça de l'Església, for its historical charm and central location.
The Old Town is Alfatares' historic heart, characterised by narrow, winding streets, traditional architecture, and a relaxed pace of life. The Plaça de l'Església, with its historic church, forms a natural gathering point, surrounded by local shops, traditional eateries, and a few small, family-run hotels. It's a very walkable area, great for exploring on foot.
Couples looking for a romantic and authentic Spanish experience will find the Old Town particularly appealing. The evenings here are quiet, offering opportunities for intimate dinners at local restaurants or simply enjoying a glass of wine in a secluded square. The historic surroundings provide a beautiful backdrop for a relaxing getaway.
Families with older children who appreciate culture and history will also enjoy the Old Town. The pedestrian-friendly streets mean less worry about traffic, and there are small museums and craft shops to explore.
When is the best time to go to Alfatares?
The best time to go to Alfatares is typically during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) months.
These periods offer pleasant weather, with comfortable temperatures that are ideal for exploring the region without the intense heat of summer. You'll find fewer crowds compared to the peak summer season, allowing for a more relaxed experience when visiting local attractions and enjoying outdoor activities.
For those looking to enjoy the beaches and water activities, the summer months of July and August are also excellent, though they are the busiest and hottest.
