"Really disappointed with the property. It could be so lovely as the surroundings are really beautiful. Room is outdated and grubby. Surfaces and floors were sticky. We had no hot water to shower in the morning and mentioned it at check out only to be told it had been rectified, but at that point it was to late as we were checking out. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly. "

"The receptionist that checked me in was so lovely! She had only just started working on the reception after leaving air-hostessing and we got to talking because i’m a hotel receptionist too and she really is made for reception! The restaurants were lovely and the spa too! our treatments were amazing and the therapists really listened to our requests on pressure / firmness and what areas we wanted to be focused on more. Overall a really lovely stay, and would love to come back <3"

"An enjoyable stay. Staff friendly, clean room. Don't know why the spa had a charge as when booked directly with the hotel it would have been free and there were charges for the towels and the robes. Evening meal good. I felt the room was quite expensive but on the whole it was an enjoyable stay."

"First class country pub with lovely accommodation. My room was spacious and extremely comfortable with everything I needed. It was well decorated and very homely. I had a mobility access bathroom which was also fabulous. I didn’t eat dinner but had poached eggs at breakfast which were great. I would definitely stay here again. "
