"I loved my stay, and it exceeded my expecations. The place is in a strange little back street which might look unpromising, but it's dead quiet and actually ideally placed just minutes from both the station and the cathedral. The place is very well kept, and simple but stylish. My appartment was like a Travelodge bed room and bathroom, but with a well-equipped kitchen and a living room thrown in too. The reception staff were all very pleasant and helpful and, overall, it was extremely good value for money. It would be my first choice on a return trip to the city."

"The room was excellent, spacious, luxurious, clean. I had limited contact with the staff but they were helpful and polite. Whilst I realise it's a listed building the outside looks a little tired. Location is very good."

"Staff make the hotel, everyone was so friendly, I came with wife and our autistic son, he was made up with how staff liaised with him, even the kids pack which included a lanyard (he collects lanyards) Room was comfortable and breakfast was lovely "
