"The area was very convenient and had a lovely view of the river. Perfect for access to the city centre. The room itself was clean, just like the photos and they did a great service of the room as we stayed two nights. Although the area is convenient, be aware it does mean there's noise from traffic all night long. The parking situation was unclear when booking and lead to us receiving a parking ticket. And in our room in particular, the shower was almost unusable. "

"Couldn't have wished for a more fantastic stay. Jean couldn't have done any more than she did. The room was clean and comfortable, and there was plenty of tea, coffee, milk, and biscuits. Beautiful bed and lovely soft towels. Breakfast everything you wanted. Delicious cooked breakfast. Nothing was any trouble. "

"I went to Diss to see friends & colleagues. On arrival no one was there to meet me as I had arrived early. There was no way of contacting the proprietor. They were on holiday, their adult daughter & son in law were taking care of bookings/stays. I had to wait for them to come home from work. The son in law was the first to arrive and was friendly & apologetic. The daughter arrived and she was equally lovely. The room was so nice and comfortable. I had a fantastic sleep & enjoyed my stay. "

"It needs to be pointed out to potential visitors that there is no lift within the building so disabled people and those with heavy luggage will have difficulty accessing the rooms above the ground floor."

"Stayed here for a 2 night break. Friendly welcome and a lovely room (The Hayloft). Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit and cereal to start and a nice home cooked breakfast. Great touch with having a toaster on the table to toast the delicious bread and enjoy the marmalade. Breakfast was efficient with no waiting. Liz and John have a delightful place for a stay."
