"The accommodation is well finished and the staff pleasant. We had booked a room with a sofa bed which had not been made up so we were moved to a family room which had two beds but very little room around them.
We had to leave a day early as my mother was admitted to hospital but the hotel would not approve a partial refund.
The breakfast was fine.
I think this hotel is lovely but not really ideal for families. "
"Excellent breakfast, friendly staff and a large family bedroom with plenty of space for 4 people. Great, central location with on street parking. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend. "
"Excellent base for a short visit - guest house rather than a hotel, but better for that and the complimentary bread, cereal, tea and coffee breakfast was a bonus."

"Week before our stay we received a courtesy call from Brendan regarding parking etc. Thought this was a lovely touch. On arrival at the hotel we were early for check-in and hoped to drop off our luggage. Mairead at reception advised that our room was ready and could check-in. We were delighted. We were then told we got an upgrade and offered a glass of bubbly. Food, cocktails and staff were excellent. Had a fantastic stay and will definitely return and recommend to others.

"What a unique hotel with the separate studio rooms nearby. The location inside the walls is excellent for walking. The staff were great, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I’d highly recommend the hotel."
"Had excellent stay with my family! It close to the town and all the attractions. Breakfast was delicious, cant rate the restaurant as we were out sight seeing but handy to have if we were looking food near by. All and all great place to stay "
