The breakfast was fabulous too, my favorite Scottish breakfast of the trip, with pretty views into their courtyard and quiet peaceful vibe. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this charming, family-owned hotel. The location is excellent—just a short walk (about 10 minutes) to the beach, with plenty of shops and restaurants right down the road. The hotel is run by a lovely older couple who made us feel very welcome, they were especially kind to our young daughter. Breakfast each morning was a highlight—hearty, homemade, and served in a traditional dining room that reminded me of grandma’s house. It added a comforting, nostalgic touch to the whole experience. If you’re looking for a place with character, warmth, and a great location, this is a perfect choice."

"What an absolutely beautiful place! We loved our room; it had so much character. We appreciated the kettle and coffee/tea in the room, the included breakfast; the restaurant on site, the wifi and the available parking. The grounds are also beautiful; you can sit at the tables along the river and admire the castle-like building. I wish we could have stayed longer. "

"We were touring around and this was a great location, with the beaches of Nairn nearby and good connections to travel wider afield to Inverness and Loch Ness in one direction and Aviemore in the other. The facilities were what you'd expect and we enjoyed the bar and dining in the restaurant on both nights we stayed there - excellent food and service. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, with our many questions about places to go etc. It was also fascinating to learn about the link with Charlie Chaplin, and I would happily stay there again. "
