"A long established grand hotel, which although a little tired, is very well presented and room was really clean and spacious Staff were very friendly, polite and extremely helpful. You felt their genuine desire that they wanted you to enjoy your stay. Food was exceptionally good, both dinner and at breakfast. With a wide range of choices it was all too easy to over-indulge. Best Sticky Toffee pud we have had. "

"We were touring around and this was a great location, with the beaches of Nairn nearby and good connections to travel wider afield to Inverness and Loch Ness in one direction and Aviemore in the other. The facilities were what you'd expect and we enjoyed the bar and dining in the restaurant on both nights we stayed there - excellent food and service. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, with our many questions about places to go etc. It was also fascinating to learn about the link with Charlie Chaplin, and I would happily stay there again. "My room was cosy and very clean. The bed was high and the linen was immaculate and very comfortable, a proper princess bed. Location is walking distance from shops, restaurants and the quaint harbour. Breakfast was tasty and well presented. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend to others. "
