"Our host Toni was wamr and friendly. The hotel is very well located. You can park there and it's a short and easy walk into the town centre. The hotel is very nicely furnished, with comfortable beds and a spacious bathroom. There was even some carrot cake in our room to welcome us! Excellent breakfast, too. We will definitely be coming back."

"A fantastic hotel. Beautifully decorated and furnished throughout. Our bedroom (superior room) was exceptionally large as was the bathroom. King size bed really comfy. Dined in the restaurant in the evening and enjoyed an exquisite meal. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful with a mention special mention to Francesca who was really helpful and informative. Hotel is about a 10/15 minute drive from Bath city centre. Just up the road is a P andR and we parked there (free) and caught...

"We had a wonderful experience at the Gainsborough Bath Spa hotel during a short visit to town. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a couples massage during our stay and the spa in the hotel is top notch. The room was gorgeous with high ceilings and a nice separation of spaces. The nightly turndown service was unexpected and appreciated. We pretty much loved everything about this place!"

"All the staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful. The spa area was very convenient and well maintained. We ate in the Pantry several times and the food was delicious. A variety of cocktails and mocktails were also on offer. The garden area is beautiful and has lots of available lawn games. Overall, the hotel provides a wonderfully relaxing experience."

"This is a very old property which has been sympathetically modernised. Spacious bedroom with lovely soft bedding. Good selections of tea, coffee and other drinks in the room. Staff were very attentive and the evening food gave good options on the menu which were well presented and tasty . We would stay again."
