"We had a wonderful experience at the Gainsborough Bath Spa hotel during a short visit to town. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a couples massage during our stay and the spa in the hotel is top notch. The room was gorgeous with high ceilings and a nice separation of spaces. The nightly turndown service was unexpected and appreciated. We pretty much loved everything about this place!"

"This is a great hotel to stay in for a nice break in Bath. The location is perfect. When you leave the hotel door it’s a short walk in either direction to get you into the center of Bath. The staff are really polite and were helpful with suggestions on restaurants and things to do. Our room was superb. At the back of the hotel overlooking what I believe is part of the rugby ground. "All the staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful. The spa area was very convenient and well maintained. We ate in the Pantry several times and the food was delicious. A variety of cocktails and mocktails were also on offer. The garden area is beautiful and has lots of available lawn games. Overall, the hotel provides a wonderfully relaxing experience."

"A fantastic hotel. Beautifully decorated and furnished throughout. Our bedroom (superior room) was exceptionally large as was the bathroom. King size bed really comfy. Dined in the restaurant in the evening and enjoyed an exquisite meal. "I love this place. I have been here many times. The rooms are lovely. Very tastefully decorated and comfortable. I only wish they would serve breakfast at a business-person’s time. At 0800 it is crazy late for a work day. "

"A Hidden Gem of a Hotel. Staff Are All very Friendly and made us Feel very Welcome. Food is First Class. Grounds are very well Manicured. Excellent base for Visiting Bristol, but you will need a Car as Hotel is off the Beaten track."

"Lovely pub with comfortable room. Friendly staff and nice beer. I was greeted with a warm welcome and escorted to my room. Tea/coffee making facilities were present and fresh milk available on request in the bar. I only had breakfast once but it was tasty and well presented. "

"This is a very old property which has been sympathetically modernised. Spacious bedroom with lovely soft bedding. Good selections of tea, coffee and other drinks in the room. Staff were very attentive and the evening food gave good options on the menu which were well presented and tasty . We would stay again."

"Our host Toni was wamr and friendly. The hotel is very well located. You can park there and it's a short and easy walk into the town centre. The hotel is very nicely furnished, with comfortable beds and a spacious bathroom. There was even some carrot cake in our room to welcome us! Excellent breakfast, too. We will definitely be coming back."
