"Room was on the small side but adequate, shower fine. Staff were very friendly and polite, welcoming. Pool facilities ok, fair distance from hotel if weather is rough! Dining room very dark at breakfast, garden room more pleasant. Breakfast pretty standard. "

"Our room was lovely, very spacious and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was clean and well stocked. It was very quiet at night too, no banging doors, although not sure if it was because the hotel itself was quiet. The only negative was that the room was incredibly hot at night. We had to have the windows open quite wide overnight. "

"The first sight is exactly as the photo of the Inn, and we walked in to a happy and friendly pub, not rowdy, and collected our keys to our room which was as shown in the website. Generous with tea, coffee and milk, plus a pair of binoculours to look out onto the hill behind. We quickly returned to the bar, with it's original beams and polished copper benches for a drink then a meal. Good value prices, choices and the meals were delicious and huge. "Lovely, greeted with a smile and checked straight in, the room was nice clean and comfortable, breakfast is basic but I didn’t mind as I only have small breakfasts, my only advice to travellers would be check if the kitchen is open for evening meals during your stay, it wasn’t on my 1st night however there was a great pub just up the road. I will definitely stay here again, I didn’t get the ladies name behind the bar, but a big shout to her she was great."

"We booked the one bedroom apartment which was very spacious and comfortable. Having the hotel facilities like the bar, restaurant and breakfast on hand, you still have the option of a fully functional kitchen, lounge to relax and watch TV (World Cup Rugby in our case) and a private terrace to sit out on. Perfect base to explore the surrounding area. Amazing staff!"
