There is a rooftop terrace and we enjoyed this space for breakfast and dinner. The hotel decor is simple and understated but of the highest quality. Local produce is sourced for the breakfast and the hotel is surrounded by restaurants and cafes. "

Everything from it"s location with easy walking distance to both the port and the town pf Porto Vecchio, to the friendliness of the staff who couldn't do enough to make our stay as enjoyable as possible and the amazing spotless room overlooking the sea made our stay very enjoyable. "Wonderful petit dejeuner in this interesting hotel perched on the side of a steep hill. The views from reception and breakfast room were lovely. Room had fantastic bathroom with walk in shower, glass sink and power tub. Pity not to have a view of the bay. "

"Location, location, location. the hotel sits on a beautiful coastal site. The view is breath taking. You can sit out on the back lawn under some beautifully sculpted trees the shade you or walk 20 feet to small beach to enjoy some sun. The breakfast is outstanding. The selection of teas is wonderful. All the wonderful foods are tasty. We ate all our evening meals there as well . The service was impeccable. Try toi get the rooms with the patio they add so much to your stay. "

"Probably one of the worse places I have stayed in 10 years. We reported issues within 2 hours of arrival. No one came to see me or tried to address anything and we left after less than 2 days. The general manager avoided me until I emailed him direct and demanded he call me. He then claimed our claims were not true and told us because we had checked in were weren’t entitled to any refunds for the two nights we didn’t stay. They take all the money upfront so we had no leverage to claim or...

Would really appreciate it if Hotels.com would make it CLEAR that the reservation is for a place that is remote from the checkin place (not just bury it in the ‘details’ tab). "Our first impression of Le Carre Noir was breathtaking. The drive up was dramatic, the view spectacular. The staff were cordial but we were offered no help with our bags and the key card system was down when we arrived.
