"We found the staff to be pleasant, attentive and friendly. The hotel is well situated next to the Drake mall and under 10 minutes downhill to the Barbican (fun navigating through the 6 foot wide lanes!). Take the lift to - 1. Very good value for the facilities provided and surpasses rival budget chains on price and location. Although next to a busy dual carriageway, the double glazing and air-conditioning blot out most of the noise. Breakfast was fine and the Engligh is well cooked, albeit limited to 7 items. Pastries run out fast and bananas don't exist! Plymouth is a large University city and so if you prefer a more sedate visit then avoid term times - offering you 4 months in the year. Leonardo does well in this hotel. Enjoy your stay - we did! "

"From the moment we arrived the staff couldn't have been anymore helpful. We were greeted by two warm, friendly, smiley and wonderful reception staff. Rooms were extremely comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast was delicious, from the huge variety on the continental to the super tasty cooked option. We had two wonderful servers at breakfast who set up a table for us to accommodate our puppy who joined us on our trip. He was evev given a cheeky sausage at breakfast. Fantastic service, by all. A mattress topper on the two single beds (pushed together) to cover the join. "
