"So glad we booked this place rather than a large hotel in the area that we were considering. The room was gorgeous with a big bath tub (we chose one of the big rooms). Check in was easy, staff were v friendly and accommodating despite looking after the restaurant too (special mention to Ashmi who waited on us a couple of times in the restaurant). "Had a lovely pleasant stay. Had a very welcoming experience from the owner who seemed genuinely pleased to see us. Gave us all the information we needed and showed us to our room. The room was immaculately clean and very spacious, as was the en-suite. Breakfast was an abundance of fresh yoghurt, pastries, cheeses and cereals. Hot tea and coffee with crumpets, toast etc. would definitely recommend and we will stay again. "

"Nice hotel, great location for concerts/events. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast not bad but some of the cooked stuff had been hanging around a while. Bit noisy late at night from local night club but still managed to get to sleep.Extractor fan not working in bathroom, reported on that when leaving. Hopefully it has been repaired by now. No liners in bins - a small but important issue. Pretty good value for money, booked sometime in advance. "

I was offered another but declined as I had already eaten the rest- I also didn’t want to risk food poisoning from raw pork."
