"the hotel is so beautiful and the location amazing but the rooms really need an upgrade. the rugs are a bit shabby and there was no place to plug in my computer or iPhone to recharge. at least in my room but I have found that to be so in the past. and I had no hot water in my shower."

"Well run and decent all around. Excellent location in the touristy old town. The downside is party people are noisy so bring ear plugs. We didn't opt for the breakfast because we felt it was a bit pricey and we were happy to go get a croissant and cafe au lait ourselves."

"Our family of 3 enjoyed our stay at Hotel Bristol. The location was excellent, it was within a good walking distance to the Palais and close to restaurants and shops. The lobby of the hotel was beautiful, the staff were attentive and the buffet breakfast (added for a cost) was great. Our room was clean and a good size for 3 people. Would highly recommend. "

"We were offered an upgrade to stay on the second floor which is the third floor if you are an American. Beware if you have large suitcases, as there are no elevators. We had to practically empty our suitcase to get the contents up the stairs. There is a washing machine/dryer combo in the community kitchen, but it takes hours to wash and dry your clothes. Don't plan on doing much laundry. We did enjoy the spaciousness of the apartment once we got settled. The location was quite convenient if you are a walker. With the limitation I described, I think it was a good value for the price, especially since we could prepare/reheat some meals in our own apartment."
