Sorrento Hotel Guide - 3 stars Hotels in Sorrento, Italy

We came in on a ferry, walked up to hotel level and followed directions to hotel. Well receive D, very nice room with balcony. Took bus down Amalfi Coast, wonderful.

Not in the main city centre but at Marina Grande, easily reached by bus or by walking ( about 15 minutes by stairs and winding paths- once you know the way). It took us over 1 hour the first time because we kept getting lost and the path is not well marked. Very well managed and maintained hotel

The hotel is centrally located in Sorrento. We stayed there seven years previously and wanted to return there as we enjoyed it so much. It was as we remembered. If you are looking for a hotel with charm, friendly staff and that offers clean rooms with comfy beds in would highly recommend it.

This hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the main square, so it is an excellent location. If you are looking for a quiet resort then this is not the place for you as it is very busy. The hotel is a lovely hotel but in my option the rooms need refurbishing. They are quite basic, the shower is old and there was mould on the sealant of the bath. We did not have a balcony so I would suggest you pay a little extra and go for a room with a balcony and sea view, the views are spectacular. The room we were in was on the top floor and as you came out the lift there were another 18 steps to walk up so is not ideal if you are older and have trouble with stairs, ask for a lower floor. The terrace bar is lovely and there is a terrace with Sun beds and a Jacuzzi (which is cold). The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We were on a b&b basis and the breakfasts were excellent, the choice was brilliant. We did not have a meal there so could not comment on what the food was like. We were only there for 5 days as I went to sorrento for my sons wedding, but as nice as the hotel was I don't think I would like to stay for longer than that, maybe if we had a room with a sea view and balcony I would think differently. All in all though an enjoyable stay.

Nice hotel located in town near everything. Shop and eat close by or walk down the steps (several hundred) to the marina for a boat ride to Capri. Nice breakfast was included in our visit.

The location of this hotel was fantastic, within a 2 minute walk from the main square and the station. The hotel itself was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very cute hotel, easily accessible to the city center via the city bus/shuttle. Our AC unit kept spewing water both nights of our stay onto one of our beds....and the room was very small to fit 4 (the pictures online for the rooms we found to be a bit misleading size/style wise) . However the staff were very sweet and nice! The breakfast was delicious!! And the woman who made us coffee in the morning makes the best cappuccinos and was very sweet (she remembered our orders from the day before!)

Amazing views and good size room / sea view balcony. Staff bent over backwards to assist. Amazing customer service.

10 minute walk from downtown, great view of harbor from room, fabulous breakfast, room is ample size, English channels on TV, staff accomodating

This hotel is so warm and welcoming, standards are high and the facilities are all that you need, the location is a good base for activities in the area. What really does make this hotel stand out most are the staff, they literally do all that they can to look after you, I truly can't fault anything about this hotel - maybe one tiny little thing would be you have to go to the bar for tea, not in rooms, but to be honest it was so good an atmosphere around the pool/bar area you'd not want to sit drinking tea in your room anyway !
