Views amazing from the room 302 Beautiful heritage building set in park like grounds with golf club. All staff excellent & Zoe very helpful with queries later evening ; night time."

"Stay was pleasant. I would have liked an easy chair in the room rather than a 'pouffe'. Bedside lamps were dusty. One ceiling bulb was out and another gave off a very low light when room completely dark; even so it was not a problem although it could be an indication of an electrical problem."

"Had a lovely stay, was a drop of the hat booking. Lots of shops if you have forgotten anything. Staff was lovely especially Chris the night porter who couldn't do enough to help. Was biker friendly also due to the weather they let us stay an extra hour. The Breakfast was 2nd to none and breakfast staff where lovely didnt know the lady chef but she was very helpful and kept me loaded with coffee" she knows who she ls! "Service and food excellent. Room a little tired. Windows dirty and need maintenance. View over courtyard. No parking so had to pay at the carpark behind. Bit of Walk in the rain. Food was exceptional. Room could do with a little tic. "

"Our room was on the ground floor which we asked for. It was freshly decorated and very clean. The staff were very polite and efficient. "

"We were given a disability room off the car park so not in the main building. So no view of anything except a fence 18” from our window. Not sure why hotels think people with disabilities don’t need a surface to put their toiletries on in the bathroom. I find this in every room of this category we’ve stayed in. "

"We had a couple of issues with the room. There was a leak on the tap and the bathroom vent did not work so a little steamy after a shower but we told the staff and they confirmed it would be fixed. Had a lovely lunch and dinner there and a great central place for touring the area. "
