"Very friendly pub serving good beer and excellent food."

"Lovely looking building and good parking outside. The owner was really friendly and helpful and made sure I had everything needed for my stay, even walking me around the building so I knew where everything was. Breakfast was a nice spread and fresh which was good. My stay was only 1 night but would return again."

"Beautiful location, great historical house, huge rooms, and a nice spa. As a whole, a great stay, although it could do with some maintenance and a bit more eye to detail. Staff were wonderful and very helpful."

"A brilliant stay, the owner and staff were marvellous"

"Lovely place to stay with fantastic restaurant, breakfast was amazing"

"We stayed for just one night before visiting longleat, the building and rooms were tired and need do need refurbishing but it was totally fine for a short stopover . The staff were so friendly and made a real effort with our 2 children, particularly Isla (I think that was the girls name) Good car park provided free of charge."

"Comfortable room in a lovely pub. Helpful, friendly staff. Great atmosphere in the pub and delicious food."

"Good continental breakfast, nice room and helpful staff."

"Exceptional place to stay, would recomend to stay here, fantastic......"

"Clean room, friendly staff very helpful and excellent breakfast. Looking forward to staying again."

"The hotel area is very nice and food is excellent. However the room was very poor. It was small, had a large low beam right across the access areas of the room that is impossible to avoid. The room was freezing when I arrived and the TV didn't work, despite the best efforts of the staff"

"We stayed here for a visit to local show, in the main we had a really good stay and would stay again if we were in the area."
