Room was clean room and Staff very hospitable and a Business-friendly environment although location is a bit off road but accessible. Will patronize again when going to Scotland

Great location - approx. 50m from the railway station and 400m from Loreburn Hall, the venue for the gig we went to. Quality breakfast. Lovely B&B - our bedroom had a proper-sized TV, the central lounge was bright and tastefully furnished, the breakfast room had great bay windows and quality furniture. Doonhamer hospitality. Adequate on-site parking.

Really enjoyed our 2 night b&b stay at the Huntingdon house hotel in Dumfries. Perfect position for Dumfries town centre. And dunfries train station. Large car park. Hotel has a bar area, with outdoor seating overlooking front garden. Our room was very comfortable with double bed. Ensuite large shower room. Bathrobes. Plenty of tea/coffee. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice to choose from. And the owners and staff are wonderful. Will stay again and will recommend.

I was a bit concerned about check in arrangements but no problem as owner lives on site. He gave us a warm welcome and made suggestions about where to eat in town. Room was clean and very spacious with seating area and pleasant outlook. Soft furnishings were a bit dated and could be improved. Breakfast was excellent with friendly and welcoming staff. There was parking on site.

The hotel was really nice built in the 17 hundreds nice n clean staff exceptionally helpful and very friendly we required a disabled room there was stairs into hotel which I could manage then once in everything on the level room was lovely with lots of space and had a wetroom with rails to hold onto and the choice of 2 different shower heads to use the meals were really good would highly recommend it

Work visit and didn't arrive till 8ph. Very helpful young lady on Tuesday night. No food available in the evening but able to eat my chippy tea with a pint ;-) Very handy for work and great for local walks in the evening. Looking forward to being back next week.

Amanda, the hotel owner was friendly, kind, helpful and understanding. She searched for more taxi numbers online for me as the numbers I had called earlier stated no taxi was available due to being on Sunday. She even went on to say if no taxi (taxis on Sundays are difficult to get) she would drive me to my destination from 9:30am when the breakfast time would be over. This is a good act of kindness. Fortunately, I was able to get a taxi at 9am who took me to my destination.

We return to the forge after 10year .this is where we got married and I was still as wonderful. And not far from the centre of Gretna . We had dinner in the restaurant there and the food was delicious and lots of it .We returned back to out room to find a bottle of bubbles to celebrate our 10th wedding Anniversary compliments from the Mill..And breakfast was a full Scottish breakfast and very nice .The staff then and now are still amazing always smiling and helpful. I would and always do...

I can’t fault the Sure Hotel in Lockerbie. A beautiful building, fantastic en suite room, very clean and modern. Or host, the manager Glen couldn’t have been more helpful. Plenty of free secure parking and we ended up taking a lovely stroll into Lockerbie for dinner. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel, great staff who are so helpful. We’ll definitely be going again.

This was the best B&B by far I have ever stayed in. The room was spotless and a very comfy bed. The full Cumbrian breakfast was delicious and plenty of it, There was also a good alternative menu aswell. But if you decide to have an evening meal you are in for a real treat. Darryl is a trained Chef and the meals he serves are amazing.

We couldn’t believe our luck when we pulled up at this hotel. The staff were really welcoming, friendly and informative. The room was comfortable and contained everything we needed. The location was superb in the grounds and in the surrounding area. The breakfasts were so tasty and there was so much choice. We had our dog with us which was not a problem at all. We loved it so much we stayed an extra night and even then didn’t want to go home!

Enjoyable three night break. Friendly helpful staff. Very comfortable bed , room cleaned every day and were allowed to park at the hotel next door. As previously mentioned they serve a great breakfast . Five minute drive to town centre but pub and takeaway nearby. Will book again next time that we visit Dumfries.
