However, room was very hot when I arrived - both radiators, and the towel rail, were on full, and windows shut, despite being the hottest day of the year. Opening all windows, and switching off all radiators helped eventually, but towel rail could not be switched off in room, nor apparently by staff. "

"Not the greatest place I have stayed in, had a room that faced onto the main road and barely had any sleep both nights.... rooms are very dated and in need of an urgent upgrade. I left the door hanger on asking for room to be serviced but on my return I found that the cleaner had just folded up wet and dirty towels and put them back on the radiator. There are no facilities to get food here at the hotel and the bar was not open at any time during our visit. Not faciliated for people with mobility issues either. "
