They have lost an opportunity to make a charming interior in the main entrance, bar and rooms but have instead brought in cheesy carpet, walls that feel carpeted and just overall dated look that hides the charm of the building"

"Lovely big room with ensuite facilites. Very nice crisp white bedding & soft, white towels. Breakfast was good & we had a lovely evening meal on one of the nights. The staff were friendly. Certain parts of the hotel would benefit with a freshen up but I guess that's down to finances and we still had a lovely time. Slightly confused by the breakfast times as they were different to the website which stated Saturday & Sunday breakfast was until 10.00am when it was actually 9.30am. This was our second visit, though it's quite a few years since our last stay, and we would return in the future."
