"A basic accommodation although the bed was extremely comfortable in the bathroom there were signs of maintenance neglect and the soap shampoo dispenser in the bath was empty although the one by the handbasin was full. At 3:15 am when taking a shower it was not the time to call reception for some more shampoo.!"

"Location, 10 minutes from the airport was excellent. Although very close to the A1, the hotel is situated within green and leafy gardens. Our room, third floor looking over the car park, had countryside views and we could hear very little road noise even with the window open. Clean and comfortable room and good to have a shower separate from the bath. Reception and bar staff welcoming, helpful and very friendly throughout. Food in the restaurant, from a reduced menu, was okay. Would have been nice to have the full menu choice. Parking plentiful and, we felt, it seemed fairly secure."

"Very very friendly staff. All were excellent and very helpful. Great location. Very fair price. Tidy hotel. Decent free breakfast included. Only downsides: No ev chargers (not the end of the world as metrocentre is nearby and has plenty) No AC in the room Carpark could get quite full and didnt seem the most secure My biggest pet peeve is the lack of power sockets at both sides of the bed. Not the only hotel i’ve stayed at with this issue! I just have no idea who decided to design hotel rooms like this. Overall very useful stopover for a trip to Scotland."

"This is the kind of hotel that you would use if you are travelling for business, coming to the area for a concert or festival. The bathroom looked and felt like it had recently been installed, which then led to the main room feeling behind regarding it needing an update. It’s what you see in the pictures. The room was a basic clean, it did smell musty but once we opened the window it soon went. The phone was not connected, when I lifted the handle it was sticky. The tv did not work but wasn’t in the room long enough to use it. The hairdryer also had a button that wasn’t working. The parking was no problem. Remember not to pay for parking until you have checked in so you can get a discount, something we found out after we paid in full for parking! Free breakfast was a bonus, great idea and enjoyable. It could do with more attention to detail, the metal edges on the stairs needed a good clean. The fan was also full of dust and the curtains needed a clean. "
