"Lovely staff, we felt like part of the family when we left! The room was large, lovely big tv, comfy bed, lovely shower and bathroom. Our room and everywhere in the hotel was spotlessly clean, a credit to the staff. Breakfast was lovely and well stocked with the usual cereals, croissants and a selection of hot food. The hotel is 5 mins from the Metro Centre by car or 15 mins walking. This really is one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in!"

"Location, 10 minutes from the airport was excellent. Although very close to the A1, the hotel is situated within green and leafy gardens. Our room, third floor looking over the car park, had countryside views and we could hear very little road noise even with the window open. Clean and comfortable room and good to have a shower separate from the bath. Reception and bar staff welcoming, helpful and very friendly throughout. Food in the restaurant, from a reduced menu, was okay. Would have been nice to have the full menu choice. Parking plentiful and, we felt, it seemed fairly secure."

"This is the kind of hotel that you would use if you are travelling for business, coming to the area for a concert or festival. The bathroom looked and felt like it had recently been installed, which then led to the main room feeling behind regarding it needing an update. It’s what you see in the pictures. The room was a basic clean, it did smell musty but once we opened the window it soon went. The phone was not connected, when I lifted the handle it was sticky. The tv did not work but wasn’t in the room long enough to use it. The hairdryer also had a button that wasn’t working. The parking was no problem. Remember not to pay for parking until you have checked in so you can get a discount, something we found out after we paid in full for parking! Free breakfast was a bonus, great idea and enjoyable. It could do with more attention to detail, the metal edges on the stairs needed a good clean. The fan was also full of dust and the curtains needed a clean. "
