"I stayed for 2 nights at the hotel with my two dogs. I was offered a room outside of the main building which was very convenient for me, with having my dogs. The room overall was clean, comfortable and nicely presented. Having a walk on the doorstep for the dogs was very convenient. My only negative observations was that the toilet seat was loose and there was a damp Patch where paint was peeling in one of the window recesses. However overall I would be more than happy to return to the...

" The George and Dragon had been taken over by new owners in October 2023. The pub is in a beautiful setting with outside seating as well as a good car park. It's obvious they have redecorated it with nice neutral colours which gives it a nice bright and welcoming feeling. I stayed overnight and my room was adequate and comfortable. They are in the process of decorating all bedrooms. The staff were very friendly and the lunch and breakfast I had there was good."

"This was the 4th time that me and my girlfriend have stayed at Worplesdon place. And each time just gets better and better. We might were lucky enough to stay in the brand new refurbished room and it totally blew our minds. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Simply amazing "

"I have stayed in this hotel before, many years ago. It is an old hotel but the room was well decorated and the bed comfortable. This is the kind of hotel that knows it market and fulfils that markets requirements. I had the full English breakfast and the food was of good quality and just enough so that I didn't feel stuffed. I stayed there primarily because of the price, but also because it is close to a good pub and restaurants, so meant meeting up with friends easy. I will be going back there...

"Good value for the price we paid. Furniture is outdated and some visible stains on furniture, however room was clean and we had all the basics we needed, including clean towels and sheets. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would be nice if they could offer breakfast, but convenient Costa across the road. "

"convenient location. The old building makes for a few minor problems getting round. Bathroom was spotless. Would have welcomed a lamp on the desk as it was hard to write in the dark! BBC 1 did not work on the TV but other channels were fine."

"The entire team at Swan Hotel was very friendly and engaged well with the guests. The restaurant was excellent for both breakfast and dinner. Our superior room was large, clean and very comfortable. The hotel was an easy 30 minute walk to Jane Austen’s home and Chawton. Would highly recommend the Swan Hotel for a stay in Alton."

"Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I stayed in the Mansion House which had a lovely rustic feel but was also very clean and modern. The whole site had a lovely feel and the other building with the pool etc looked very modern and also had some nice cosy seating areas. We didn't use any facilities but had a look around and everything looked brand new! Would love to stay here again. "

"Clean room and a great breakfast. Didn’t like that a cheap rate meant you had to drag your bag a long distance up and down stairs. No elevator. Otherwise happy."
