"This was a lovely find on a Lake Simcoe canal system. The staff was lovely and knowledgeable. Our room was renovated 70's retro, and very clean, with lots of room for sitting, lots of drawers, large closet and basic hotel kitchen amenities. The bathroom was nice and clean. It is an eco-friendly location, and we enjoyed staying there very much! Thank you"

"Muskoka Lake Cottages is a nice cabin style cottage. This cabin style cottage has a beautiful lake view of Brandy Lake that is 7mins to Port Carling and 15min to Bracebridge. Lots of fishing everywhere you can use the resort kayaks to cruise the lake that is included. Excellent stay we will be back in the near future. "

"We had an amazing stay at the Captain's House. We were treated so well by our hosts and made to feel so welcome and comfortable. The house is absolutely adorable, decorated beautifully. "When we were arrived, we were greeted by the owner who was cleaning our parking spot of the snow. Super friendly and wonderful check-in. The room was very quaint and clean (other than a bone under the bed). All was wonderful, other than there were very minimal receptacles, but we travel with enough cords to deal with our CPAP and Laptop. The Wi-Fi for the laptop kept dropping out, but other than that, we will most certainly stay again. "

"The cottage itself was quite adequate. Clean but minimal. Comfortable beds. Its not really possible to swim by the cottage. there's a fair bit of boat traffic and the water is shallow with a lot of rocks and obstacles. You have to swim off the dock. I also messaged several times with various questions before our trip with no response. And when we arrived the internet wasn't working and they didn't get it fixed until the second day.
