"Excellent B&B in Chudleigh, Near Newton Abbott"
We booked this B&B at the last minute to take advantage of the good weather forecast for the last week of the school holidays. All the reviews of the place were excellent and so we had high hopes of a good stay. Overall our expectations were more than exceeded as the hosts Peter and Caroline couldn't have made us feel more welcome. We travelled as a family of 2 adults and 2 boys aged 13 and 11, with separate rooms for the adults and children. The adult room was extremely comfortable, clean and well presented with ample room in the bedroom and a sizeable ensuite bathroom, which we shared with the boys. Breakfast was superb, with the full English featuring bacon and sausage from the home reared pigs and fresh eggs from the chickens. We had such a lovely stay we extended our visit an extra night. We loved this part of the country and will definitely return to Farmborough House without hesitation in the future.

Pocket Guide: Devon English Riviera 3 stars Adventure Sport Hotels

The Riviera comprises three main towns: Torquay is the most fashionable and popular with a luxury marina, good beaches, and family attractions including a famous Model Village and the Kent’s Cavern. Paignton is a more traditional English resort, boasting a superb zoo. Brixham is not only a picturesque fishing harbour but one of Britain's busiest fishing ports. The adjacent area, the South Hams, is known as one of the prettiest in England.
