"Lovely small old docklands building that has been transformed. The location was quiet and was right next to the river at Canary Wharf. Small rrooms but good as a base and clean with good bedding. Very convenient transport within a 10 min walk along the riverside , plus shops at Canada place. Polite and friendly staff based in the other building of the hotel which was over the road. Need to mention that there was a weatherspoons just over the road on the riverside where we ate breakfast and one...

"Great sized room good desk space. Very comfortable pillow made for a sound nights sleep. There were plenty of sockets and USB charge points to cover all my gadgets requiring charge. Overall an very pleasant stay with a well kitted out gym and pool on site."

Have given 3 stars as we had to adk for hand towels (only 1 bath towel each provided in room & 2 tea bags but staff readily supplied more. Also good variety for breakfast but food only luke warm. Ate in restaurant in evening but again although the food was nice, it was tepid to say the least!). "

"Very clean and modern hotel. Ibis Styles is on the top end of the Ibis group, and you can tell. The room was not huge, but perfectly comfortable. Breakfast was included and very good. More in the continental breakfast style rather than heavy fully English. Location was great for Southbank exploration. Would recommend and stay again."

"I stayed over in the hotel one night, I had a superior room which was lovely. The facilities was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable, the hotel was very nice inside. Staff very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was plentiful whether you wanted a cooked breakfast, continental or cereals. It was a very comfortable stay and I would recommend."

"Always a friendly welcome (third time as a guest at The Clarendon), check in is also very speedy. Our room was pleasant with a fabulous view of the heath. We dined in the restaurant during the evening and for breakfasts (the sausages are the best) and the food was delicious with very attentive and friendly staff. I doubt that this will be our last stay. It is so convenient for all that Blackheath has to offer but it is the staff that make our stays most pleasurable. If I may make a...
