Ideal overnight stay with only a 15min walk into Wigan town centre. Rooms were lovely and clean would definitely stay again. We didn't use the communal areas on this occasion.

Impressive , clean . Parking round the corner . Safe

Excellent stay at The Stuart Hotel and a special mention about Kartar Singh who made me feel at ease and so helpful with every little thing that had a concern for. He needs a special recognition and well deserved. Thank you

It deserves its previous ratings, conveniently located, clean, modern, faultless

On my departure( check out) I stated to the guy on reception Nice hotel(clean and comfortable) , nice polite hardworking staff Absolutely no issue at-all during my 3 day stay and I would not hesitate to book this place again Thank you all

I misread the directions and ended up at the wrong door but a helpful man on the phone put me right straightaway. The room itself was great - clean and well-kept, comfortable bed, good kitchen facilities, good shower and the complimentary breakfast cereal and snacks were a nice touch. I had a very comfortable stay and will choose Winckley again.

Booked this for my friend’s wedding as it was walking distance to the venue! Affordable room close to the river, quiet and clean. I liked having a fridge and oven etc although we didn’t need it. Owner was great, I asked if the room had a hairdryer as my partner forgot his and he sorted us out! Would stay again if I needed to go to Preston :)

Exceptional customer service from jackie 5+ stars Very friendly and helpful she is such an asset to have front of house

Lovely guest house with very friendly host. Let us check in early and was very informative about the area. The guest house has private parking and is close to the centre of Southport. The room was clean, tidy and had all the extras needed. Hairdryer shampoo, soap etc. 3 of us in the room and there was ample room. Breakfast, although continental, offered cereals, pastries, toast, fruit etc

I really enjoyed my stay at this detached bungalow. I was met by the owners outside it, which i liked, as it gave my arrival a nice personal touch. They were very friendly, and made me feel at home from the start. After this, I wasnt bothered again, but they made sure to let me know that they could be called upon, if necessary. The room was excellent for what i needed; a bed, partitioned shower and washroom, microwave, fridge, all the basic utensils needed, including coffee, tea, and even a jug of...

I stayed here to attend an evening match at Anfield. Parking was one of the main reasons for choosing this venue and within walking distance of the stadium. The chap doing the parking was excellent, really helpful and friendly. The pub is also a great asset and those present were really friendly

Great little budget hotel prime location

Great comfortable stay

Wow! A great budget hotel that is worth every penny! We stayed in 2 of the garden rooms which had lovely patio doors overlooking the garden. The bathrooms are a little tired but the rooms are spacious and the beds comfy. Free wifi and parking were fab and the location was only a short walk to Lord Street and Marine Drive etc. The breakfasts were amazing value for money at £5 each, including a cooked breakfast, toast, pastries, jams, spreads etc, fresh fruit, cereal and tea and coffee. Lynn, a...
