We had a lovely 2-night stay here in this character property conveniently tucked away from a main road. We had a comfortable triple room and what we really liked about the set-up was there was a small wall divider, so compartmentalising the room in some way; it was also useful to have a small fridge and the a/c was very welcome too. The pool was excellent with lots of comfortable sun loungers and all in a very pleasant garden setting. Lovely and peaceful at all times. The hosts offer a very...

Fantastic little find, out in the middle of nowhere, high in the hills above the lake. The most spectacular views from the balcony where we just sat in the peace and quiet. Our host was fabulous, who couldnt do enough for us. Breakfast was local pastrys, the sugar bread was to die for. Beautifully restored, very authentic.

This was our second stay at Hotel La Victoire in Vence. We had previously stayed two years ago for one night before a return flight from Nice Cote D’Azur Airport, which is half and hour by car away from Vence. We liked Vence and the Hotel Victoire so much we decided we had to return, and we were not disappointed. The Hotel is located adjacent to the medieval citadel, and in close vacinity to many lovely restaurants. The Hotel overlooks a square, where there are market stalls, with an...

We had a wonderful stay at La Bastide des Pins. Romane and her family were so warm and welcoming - they made the trip special. The setting is beautiful, the breakfasts were delicious, and our room was perfect. We’d absolutely come back and would highly recommend staying here!

This is a hotel of highs and lows.
The service was brilliant. All staff super helpful, enthusiastic and hardworking.
The restaurant tries hard and is reasonably priced but misses the mark in places eg a starter of mini samosas with no raita or mango chutney so a little dry.
A small plate of fried fish bites which again just needed a little tartare sauce to elevate.
The bedroom was ok. Clean enough. A comfy bed, lovely view. But renovations have been done cutting corners eg tiling not quite...

Pleasant and burden-free stay at City Sophia. The residence is quiet, clean and well-equipped. The staff is friendly and helpful, including before the arrival. No issues during the stay and quick departure process. A very good choice for students/researchers given the great rate offered at this time of the year and the numerous schools/labs nearby.

This is a lovely little hotel with comfortable rooms, providing easy access into Cannes (15 mins drive in traffic). Would book here again when I return.

This is the hidden jewel in the Cote D'Azur. We booked on the strength of the 4.5/5 rating and were not disappointed. The owners (Vittorio and Raphaella) were perfect and couldn't do enough for us during our stay - which we had to extend by 3 days due to the strikes. Great choices for the buffet breakfast taken in the sun in their beautiful garden. The air conditioned bedroom was large enough, with a comfy double bed, widescreen TV and a separate bathroom. The hotel is outside the centre of Nice...

Basic but clean & comfortable, make the effort to walk into the town - it’s beautiful especially around the town square, good bars and dining options. Hotel is an excellent place to start homeward journey on the Route de Napoleon if you’re heading back to the UK.
