"This is a very sweet smaller simple hotel with a lot of charm and is run by the sweetest family of all ages They are very kind and the main person who works here speaks English and is extremely helpful. This is a very affordable place in a nicer area outside of Nice with some pretty views. It’s more ideal for someone who has a car or can take rides or the bus into Nice to see the sights there because Vence is further away."

Villa with a breathtaking view, in a quiet countryside, <br>One week minimum rent

"We stayed at this villa from June 13–27, 2026, with five adults and a child. In short, we had a nice vacation, but found that several things were not up to standard. Let me start with the positives. The house is in a very beautiful and quiet location, close to the village (a 5-minute walk). This makes it easy to pop over to the bakery, butcher, mini-market, or café for coffee or a glass of wine. There are also two good restaurants and a pizza takeout place. The villa is spacious and has lovely outdoor areas (including covered ones) to enjoy the beautiful view and relax. The pool is fantastic. Finally, Christelle is a very helpful contact who always responded quickly and effectively to our messages. We do have the following criticisms: contrary to what the owner had explicitly promised, not a single bedroom had a mosquito screen. According to the owner, the previous guests had broken everything. We didn’t believe that. And according to the owner, there weren’t any mosquitoes anyway. Well, there were, and unfortunately, a lot of them. So we were forced to sleep with the windows closed and the air conditioning on, which we found very unpleasant. We were also surprised that we were given only two towels during our two-week stay and that nothing was changed during that time (not even the bedding). The pool wasn’t cleaned either. Finally, we would recommend that the owner provide much more written information about the house, the devices, and so on, as that was lacking."

"Sehr gut ausgestattetes, komfortables und gepflegtes Haus in angenehmer, ruhiger Lage mit Garten, Grill, Klimaanlage, hervorragend ausgestatteter Küche. Die Innentreppe ist etwas steil, aber das wussten wir bereits. Der Pool war wunderbar, sehr gepflegt und ausgesprochen groß.Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, die jederzeit erreichbar waren. Vielen Dank an Christophe und Nadine!Schöne Gegend zum Wandern und Erholen; durch die Lage auf 700 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel waren die Temperaturen im Sommer sehr angenehm."

"We have traveled the world and have stayed in many five star hotels. I must say the Chateau St Martin & Spa more than exceeded our expectations from the outstanding service, great food, friendly and helpful staff to the most beautiful grounds you can imagine ! The sleeping rooms are spacious with beautiful views of Provence below and the Mediterranean in the near distance. We spent a day by the pool soaking in sunshine and the ambiance of the resort. We rented a car but I suggest UBER instead if you are flying into Nice. What I loved about Chateau de St Martin is its location .. close to Nice but far enough away for a restful and quiet vacation. Wonder for families, older couples and honeymooners. This is a 6 Star resort that has not been spoiled!"
