"Building site, semi naked men drinking and lighting bonfires in the car park, litter everywhere! After waiting nearly 2hrs in 30° heat to get in our room, we booked elsewhere"

"Had a lovely weekend at the Oak Tree Rooms, our room was very clean and had everything we needed, the bathroom is spacious and the water pressure was excellent. Paulina and Bruno were very accommodating and let drop off my bag before check in and leave it there after check out. The garden was lovely to hang out in after a long day of hiking. Would happily recommend this to anyone - especially if traveling by train as it’s very close to the station."

"Room above a busy pub so (as expected) noise late night at weekend. The room was OK, clean and warm but don't expect anything special, the price of the room reflects that compared to other places in Ryde. No shampoo or shower gel provided, so I got some from nearby pound land. Check in was handled quickly and friendly. Biggest problem was an awful stench in one of the corridors leading to the room and a pile of discarded furniture/junk too."

"Close to port. Rooms above pub noisy on Friday night, but quiet after 12pm, so not a problem at all! Would definitely stay here again!"

"I couldn't get in to the property. I arrived at around 7pm and put the code into the door lock and turned the handle only to find that the door was also locked with another lock I phoned the contact number on the booking confirmation only to find it was an office and nobody was there, so I left a message, I never had a reply. I rang Hotels.com, who were very helpful. But they were unable to get me a refund. I had not read the reviews for the place, but I sugest that if you want to make booking...

"It was a complete mess, I was robbed and they gave access to two other people who weren't allowed in the room, and they didn't refund what I paid."

"The rooms are a good size there a multiple bathrooms ans toilets which is good 1 could do with a bit of work but overall there was a microwave in kitchen to warm your food and place was also lovely and warm and a sink in room was good. Nice location aswell near the shops especially if you want a takeaway and a big supermarket nearby also the transport networks are really good or go on foot 40 minutes walking but quite a nice town also has lots of history"
