We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Chilworth Manor while visiting Stonehenge, Avebury Stones, and Salisbury Cathedral. The property was once a manor and has evolved into a comfortable, well-maintained hotel, with substantial grounds and walking trails. The trails could use better upkeep. We had both breakfast and dinner at the hotel; the food and service were perfectly fine. Our only real drawback was that our third-floor room was accessible only by stairs, with no lift. An employee kindly helped us with our luggage, which we appreciated. Overall, a pleasant stay with a lovely historic setting and convenient location for exploring the area.

We was supposed for the cost of the room that no real adequate cooling system was in place , instead - stepping into a room that was hotter than the rest of hotel we had already been and hotter than outside the building . Might I suggest in hotter months that windows are opened and curtains closed to allow circulation of air through the room , it was the most uncomfortable stay we’ve had in a hotel in the summer time . A small fan was just not efficient enough . So to allow some sort of cooler room , windows were opened , curtains closed and fan was put by window to allow cooler air flow , though as I joked to the reception person , I think sleeping in the corridor would be better after he offered me ice though I’m not sure where he expected me to put the ice . The restaurant staff exceeded themselves , so very polite and welcoming . A nice relaxed meal that was 100% out of this world . I would recommmend 100% people to visit hotel for food , but to stay wouldn’t recommend especially in summer months where the hotel does not have any kind of A/C for the cost of the room . Once again - restaurant staff - keep up the good work !!

I really my stay although I lost just slept there 😊
