"Samara Pacific Lodge is a hidden gem for our Samara adventure! The location was perfect. We could walk to the beach for some surfing in the mornings, then head into town for delicious local eats in the afternoons. In the evenings, the pool area was a lifesaver! Nice and refreshing, with plenty of comfy loungers to catch some rays and unwind. The staff here were incredible. Kenneth and Allen were so friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond with a smile. And breakfast every morning...

"This hotel needs management. The staff is very friendly and accomodating, especially Miriam. But the vegan food is extremely overpriced, especially for Costa Rica. The breakfast is not buffet and limited. You do get a small fruit plate and a smoothy, along with some other option. The streets leading to the hotel are littered with horrible pot holes that would tear up any car's shocks and suspension. I asked so many people why the hotel did not provide a shuttle transportation into town and...

"The best place for staying at Tamarindo! it´s very close to the town centre; you can rent a surfboard at the Hostel and go walking to the beach which takes 5 minutes. The place is very nice, swimmingpool, Chillout Zone,...and the most important thing is the good energy that you can feel there thanks to the Staff."

"Property is just what it looks like in the pictures. Excellent communication from the hotel on WhatsApp. The apartment was cute, had basic cooking equipment and enough towels for everyone. The floors in the unit really needed to be cleaned and the keys/locks were a bit hard to use, those are my only complaints!"

The hotel has 2 dogs, one big and small who are super cute, and are friendly but will generally ignore you and not be in your face if you don't want them to be. The pool had a few leaves/ bugs floating around and could be skimmed more often, but it was still perfectly fine to swim in. "
