The hotel w as better than we expected, well worth the prize tag. It us away from the main town and the access to the beach is great... Easterbrook you see the sunset from the private beach. You will be blown away. The road to get there is a dirt road in the last kilometre but do not let this deter you. A piece of advice, try the shrimp hole nearby for lunch or dinner.

It really is the Garden of Eden. Beautiful tropical lush pool area and restaurant. Staff absolutely wonderful. Could not do enough for you. Food and homemade lemonade delicious. Loved the private beach garden area. Beautiful sunsets. Easy access to Tamarindo resort area. Would highly recommend.

Just had the most amazing stay at this beautiful villa in Tamarindo! Everything from the modern design and cozy atmosphere, surrounded by nature, made it the perfect peaceful getaway. The pool was a dream come true! The whole vibe was incredibly relaxing, and although it's close to town, it felt like a true escape. I can't recommend this place enough!

A beautiful, quiet, romantic hotel on a rugged but stunning tidal beach. Located 5mins cab ride or 20minutes walk from the main town Tamarindo, a busy young but vibrant town during the evening. The service we received from all the staff at Cala Luna was outstanding, Luz it was a pleasure to meet you.

The view matches the name of the hotel. Beat ifully maintained by Sandra and Florian. Access to the small parking area is up a steep hill. There is a bit more parking on the road. Great breakfast, we preferred the 'Organic'choice - recommended. Small pool perfect for morning swims. We stayed for three nights, exploring the area by car, and had our lunches and dinners en route. This strategy worked well for us as we were not interested in any nightlife.

Stayed here for almost 2 week’s and I have nothing but good things to say. It’s in a great location, a 5 minute walk to the heart of the action and the beach. Richard (the owner) was lovely and made us feel very welcome, as did the rest of the staff. The room was a great size on the first floor with a balcony that looked straight out towards sunrise. Our stay at Nekajui, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, was truly exceptional. The resort is spectacular, with breathtaking views, beautifully designed facilities and an incredible sense of privacy and tranquillity. The facilities are outstanding. The **gym is amazing**, while the **spa and hydrotherapy pools are truly sensational** — perfect for relaxing and recharging. What really sets Nekajui apart, however, is its people. We had a 9 night stay at Conchal Hotel 01/11-10/11/2017 and it couldn’t have been better. The hotel is located close to at least 5 fantastic restaurants and the hotel restaurant Papaya is also delicious. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful from helping us book taxis to arranging tours and airport transfers and even suggesting drinks we should try. Generally great experience, the food was good, especially the outside lobster and shrimp skewers in the main, we actually preferred the main restaurant to the specialised restaurants. Great sandy beach, free use of kayak and stand up paddle board, snorkeling equipment if you ask we only realised the last couple of days. Lots of good stuff. Absolutely beautiful place, lovely welcome by staff who could not have done more to make us feel at home. The grounds are well kept and the pool areas are stunning. Our room (Nesto suite) was large and comfortable. Would definitely return!

Superb facilities, lovely staff and a hotel with a very cool vibe about it! Beach bar with a live dj playing beach house at sunset! Amazing breakfast and Pablo who served us was super cool!

Excellent welcome by front desk staff. Great room, clean, good facilities and very comfortable bed. Great pool, and poolside service very attentive. Free shuttle service to airport and the best driver, extremely informative and helpful.

Great stay in a nice and quiet hotel.

A lovely boutique hotel with delicious, Fresh food and attentive staff (we had a fab waiter called Manrique). The smoothie bar is a great touch and on site yoga classes make for a relaxing break. We loved it so much we will be coming back at the end of our time in Tamarindo for dinner and to watch the sunset.

We had booked 3 days at the Marriott for a family wedding and then 3 days in Tamarindo with a final 3 days left open. We actually went back to the Marriott for the final 3 days at we had been spoilt by the comfort and relaxed atmosphere of the place. Plus we got it about 20% cheaper the second time round. Little touches such as real hand towels in all the restrooms around the hotel make a big difference. The style is Universal American but with excellent finishing - not like one of the resort...
