"I like the location of the property as it faces the ocean giving you a serene view of nature in its gentle activity. The property is also homely and comfortable. Staff was good and friendly. The only disturbance was the subtle infiltration of ciggarette smokes from the the outside when window was open. I wouldn't know if other rooms were affected but mine was and it wasn't cool."

There were magazines, and games to use, toiletries and sweets in room, good quality towels and bedding and breakfast was plentiful with great choices. A wonderful place for a few days in Pickering"

"Exceptionally clean. Excellent views over Whitby from top floor. Good power shower (bring you own showergel) Well equipped kitchen with microwave and fridge, kettle and dishwasher.
Up some steep steps. Stand facing Riverside fish and chips and steps on your right. Recommended as long as you are able-bodied."
