"Emerald Hideaway is a very well appointed, clean and modern apartment. The entrance hall is a little dated and the stairs are not for the faint hearted when carrying luggage! One you're in the apartment the space is extremely clean and comfortable. The added touches of the five ring hob and the Nespresso machine were unexpected luxuries. "Lovely well equipped house for our stay in saltburn. Very clean and perfect for a family or couple. Perfect location, 5 mins walk from the beach and 5 mins walk from local shops/restaurants. I recommend the Thai restaurant Coco & Rum for a meal or takeaway. There’s is a parking space at the back of the property but we could not fit our car into it but street parking at front was not a problem. Would definitely stay here again when visiting my family"

"The location is just amazing: you can see the beach from the flat, you are within half mile of almost everything. Equipments are good, just as the cleanliness and the communciation. The real drawback are the windows. Single glazing means that you hear anything happening in the street, could it be people going out, rain, wind. "The Hotel sits in a wonderful quite setting which was beautifully well cared for a peaceful garden to walk around with good outdoor seating and covered pods. The reception staff were first class very patient and helpful especially Annie explaining the area and good places to see and best parking. We were only Bed & Breakfast but found the staff cheerful and efficient the breakfast Full English was excellent, All in all a good two night stay."

"The decor is over the top kitch with lots of black, purple and silver so it won't be to everyone's taste. The larger rooms in the old part of the property are poorly lit and have free standing baths which take up loads of space while the actual bathroom is cramped but they have plenty of seating and big windows. I also like that the beds are low rather than the high ones that have become the fashion. The food is really good, both at breakfast and at dinner and the staff are friendly and helpful. They tend to have intrusive and unneccessary music playing which is a shame but it's the same almost everywhere one goes"
