"Ok"

"A charming hotel with friendly staff, we really enjoyed staying here."

"Very nice for a quiet getaway in the North Lakes"

"Great stay for a solo traveller. Good location, free parking and very hospitable. Very reasonably priced too."

"Cool place! Perfectly fine for a hostel. Well equipped kitchen. Nice people!"

"Fairly basic but clean . Manager was very nice guy . Probably over priced for what it is . But no real complaints for a drop off close to M6"

"Hostel itself is very good with everything needed for a good stay. The road leading to the hostel however is almost unsuitable for vehicles and this is not mentioned when booking. Almost 1 mile of rough terrain is enough to cause significant damage."

"Pros - good location. Short walk into town. Room clean, modern & spacious. Self check in with good clear instruction prior to arrival. Cons - Car park full so had to pay for parking on car park next door. No plates at breakfast only cardboard dishes which made it difficult to butter toast as the bread wouldn't fit in the dish. Would definately stay here again though & just maybe arrive earlier to get a parking space."

"Staff could not have been more helpful. Home from home with super public areas and wonderful food. A gem we will visit again soon!"

"Lovely house highly recommended 👍👍"

"Awesome location and great family who run it & awesome choice of breakfasts too plus got a drying room for wet clothes after your hikes"

"A very warm and genuine welcome on arrival. The room was perfectly adequate for my needs, nice double bed with views over the rooftops of the historic town centre and over to the moors. Delicious cooked-to-order breakfast."

"Property had reasonable price. However guest at least expecting property to be clean. There was too many spider everywhere in the property. Clear haven’t clean it properly I had to spent an hour to clean which something you do not expect in your holiday. Location was perfect. Easy parking , Just 7 min drive from Windermere. There is local shop around so easy to get stuff."
