"Had a lovely stay in Riga. Beautiful city. Hotel is very conveniently located on the edge of the old town and near the bus and train stations
One minor disappointment was that the website list laundry facilities and laundry service. There are no laundry facilities at the hotel. However we were referred to a great laundromat "
"Very nice modern comfortable room in a recent addition to the hotel. The only inconvenience was that one of us had to wait in the car on the street, while the other went to the reception to pay for the parking and get the instructions on how to get there. Fortunately, the line at the reception was not very long at that time. After parking, we had to line up at the reception for check-in again. The parking was only a few minutes walk to the hotel along a closed street in the old town. There is a very big (mostly food) market at about 10 min walk from the hotel. "
"Great hotel with great service and great staff (especially thinking of Daniel at check-in, Anete at the bar, and Daiga at check-out who all did a great job). Our room was great, comfy and clean. We highly recommend this hotel and would certainly stay there again without any hesitation."
Vidzeme, a picturesque region in Latvia, offers a blend of natural beauty and charming towns, but when it comes to nightlife, it's more subdued compared to larger cities like Riga.
In the capital city of Vidzeme, Cēsis, you'll find a few local bars and pubs that offer a relaxed atmosphere, superb for enjoying a casual evening with friends. The Old Town area, with its cobblestone streets, features quaint establishments where you can sip local craft beers or enjoy a glass of Latvian wine.
Meanwhile, the coastal town of Jūrmala, while primarily known for its beautiful beaches and wellness resorts, has a handful of beach clubs and bars that come to life during the summer months. These venues often host live music events and themed parties, creating a lively atmosphere for those looking to enjoy a night out.
