"We had a fantastic stay in Grand Poet Hotel. We booked the Deluxe room and we were given room 419, which had a fantastic view over the park and Riga old town. There was plenty of room for 3 people including our son. Room was tastefully decorated and super clean. We utilized the valet parking which was really convenient. Charge was 30 Euros per night. Hotel was walking distance from everything, including all the nice restaurants in the old town. SPA was nice, but a bit overcrowded at all times....

"I only stayed one night, but it was an amazing experience overall. My room was in a newer section of the hotel across the courtyard. Because of this change, I was upgraded to a larger room. The bed was extremely comfortable with many pillows. The hotel is within walking distance of the train and bus stations. There's a great bar and excellent dining options. Great view of the river. Finally, many thanks to Veronika for her tireless efforts to make my stay as pleasant as possible. Will be back!"

"The hotel is very modern and clean. Our room was a good size, quiet, and had a view of the Riga river. They have an excellent breakfast buffet. The location is excellent. It is near old Riga, buses and trams leave from right in front of the hotel, and the train station is nearby. Right across from the hotel is the giant Riga marketplace.
