"I stayed in a semi private room, and it was honestly brilliant. More hostels should do that, cause it was so nice to be able to have your own space, but not have to buy a single room. The other facilities were nice and clean. I also loved that I was invited to join on a night out when I checked in."

"Although the owner was lovely and the room was clean, this is not somewhere I would recommend. The "beds" are thin mattresses on the floor and the pillows are sand bags! It made for some very uncomfortable sleeping and sore muscles in the morning. There is no atmosphere and the only cooking amenity is hot water for 2 minute noodles. No one uses the common room as it is the lobby, and the owners desk area. Showers are limited to specific times of the day and are timed and the toilet floor is...

"They sent me “the check in time is 3pm.” But until 4pm no staff came and the inside was very crazy. No locks, no safes(it had but the safes didn’t work as safes. It was just shelves). And besides, A woman has to stay in man dorm. This place is the worst in Japan. I couldn’t believe it was the hostel in Japan.."
