"Overlooks sea with fabulous views of the Isle of Wight Needles. Facilities were top notch. Particularly enjoyed soaking in the huge bath with tons of hot water. Bed was very comfortable and the bedding was top quality. Fridge in room was extremely useful as this year has been a heatwave. Would recommend guests use the blackout blinds if they don’t want to be woken by the early morning sunshine. The stairs to the bedrooms are quite steep and narrow so I struggled with my knee injury. "It was clean, staff was very helpful and answered our questions as far as how to get around to London. They also kept our luggage at their office until we got a room. They also let us into our room ahead of scheduled which was nice after our disembarkation from a long cruise. Breakfast was really good as well. Highly recommended it!"

"We stayed as we were going to portsmouth dockside. I did originally think it was closer to more things but thats my own fault for not checking. Easy to access though from the roads so just nipped in the car the next day. We stayed 1 night, had a drink in the bar. Didnt eat so cant comment on food. Very clean and staff friendly."
