"Well located, clean and friendly hotel"
We stayed Friday and Saturday night in Spring - hotel full on Saturday, which also meant car park in basement was very full. We asked for and received a quiet room at the back of the hotel away from traffic and lifts. The hotel is a Novotel, so you get a branded product which is predictable and reliable; at this hotel, though, you also get very friendly and helpful staff. Overall, we got good value for money and do not have any complaints - quite rare nowadays!

"Remember this is a hostel and not a hotel. "
Staff were helpful wihen we checked in Our room was clean. We would have liked a chair to sit on There is a sitting room and kitchen on two of the floors We had toilets on our floor but could not use them in the night as someone had shut the firedoor and it did not have a handle on our side. We went to next floor up. Loos were well stocked with paper and soap and there was a hand towel available for use We brought our own towels as we had looked at the website. You can hire them for £1 Breakfast is provided but you cook and clear up yourself We had eggs, frankfurters, toast and cereal. There was juice and yogurts and fruit too. We had the last couple of eggs but website says you can ask for replenishments. The kitchen area was clean but worktops had been burnt and it is like a typical student kitchen. The washing up sponge could do with replacing but if we had been really bothered we coudl have asked for a new one! The cleaner was hoovering when we got up in the morning. We parked in multistorey car park cost about £5 as we did not go back for car until after 9am There are shops sainsburys and Waitrose nearby. Well placed for going out It was a bit noisy for us, we did not arrive until midnight but there were doors banging and people talking outside until the early hours. All in all good value for money paid but we would probably stay in a B&B next time.

Stayed here for 1 night with my girl mates after watching the full monty at the hippodrome. Is in a FAB location, right next to cabbot circus shopping and only a short walk to the hippodrome and many bars. Breakfast was good (although not worth £18 each) luckily ours was comlementary. Went for a swim in the morning, pool was lovely and warm and really enjoyed using the steam room and sauna, however was disappointed that the jacuzzi was not in use. Overall an amazing stay, more than did the job for what we wanted.

"Weekend with the Kids"
great location, facilities and price. Stayed before in a double room which wasn't so great, but this time it was a family room with two queens, and it was outstanding. Benefitted from an excellent rate with 10% discount including free parking up until midnight on the day of check out, which saved a small fortune. Mind you, that went on keeping the kids entertained :)

We chose this hotel because a) we were seeing a show at Colston Hall (a slow six minute walk away!) and b) it is waterside! It's an excellent 4 star hotel. The room was clean, was spacious enough (for a standard UK room), had a comfy bed and, most impressively, a shower that almost rivals the best we've experienced (e.g. Wynn, Vegas). Seriously - you don't often get showers this good in a UK 4 star hotel. It's one of those that has the adjustable wall mounted head but also the hand-held part as well. Even better, you can get free parking at the NCP car park which is literally adjacent to the hotel! Whilst we had no need to use them, it's worth mentioning there was not only free wi-fi but also HDMI and USB inputs. Plug sockets are well positioned either side of the bed so phone charging was easy. We had a 6th (top) floor room. We booked many months in advance and I think we paid £101.20. Consider the central location and free parking and ask yourself why you wouldn't choose to stay at this hotel! You can be a voyeur of the pub/club goings on over he other side of the water if you like! We stayed on a Saturday and had plenty of entertainment after we returned 'home' from Stewart Lee's gig. I mention this because had we have wished to, we could have shut the window and the double-glazing would have blocked the noise.
