"We were fortunate to stay at Mullions 51 on the recent Bank Holiday Monday. In the evening the local folk group entertained us with their singing and guitar playing, whilst we had dinner in the restaurant. They play every fortnight on a Monday and I feel Mullions 51 would do well to include a set meal on their menu to accompany their visits, and encourage people to stay. "Nice location right on the sea front with the benefit of a traditional pub for drinks and dinner. friendly staff, and the room was small but had everything we needed for our overnight stay. Generally comfy hover we found the pillows a bit lumpy and the room was warm but being in the ground floor and easily accessed we didn’t want to leave the window open but otherwise a good stay and the breakfast is good. "

"The pub/hotel is on the Main Street across from the petrol station so we expected it to be noisy but thankfully it wasn’t in the room. You check in at the bar which can be problematic if you bring your luggage in with you as it can be packed with bar patrons. The rooms are in a separate building which is quite new, parking is first come first serve for both hotel and general public so we had to park down the street until we could find one closer. I received a phonecall earlier in the day from Lucy to say that the boiler was not working and they were unable to get anyone to fix it so they would be refunding us half of the cost back which was very nice of them as this was not their fault and these things happen. "Rather a quirky place on the edge of Bristol. There is a bus stop right outside, very convenient, took about 40 minutes into city centre so no parking to worry about. Our room was rather dark with heavy wood and colour scheme, but well enough equipped, although there was a considerable amount of traffic noise. Tiny shower and diy breakfast (plenty of it). The owner was away but the gentleman who welcomed us was very friendly and chatty. This was not a luxury stay but fine for a stopover. "

"A comfortable and clean place to stay before an early morning flight out of Bristol Airport. Was easy walking distance to the airport, with a pub and nice green area park close to it. It was clear parking is somewhat limited, ( I didn't drive but it was something that was noted quite a bit). Check out wasn't too difficult either, and wasn't too loud from the airport, so was able to get plenty of sleep before the flight."
