We're very impress with the Friendlyness of the the Staff and the helpfulness they gave us in finding directions to the Metro and the other sites to see in Rome from the 1st day of our 2 night stay and making arrangement for us to get to the port for our 10 day cruise. We got to check in our room early, nice and clean and the bathroom was good size..
We booked this as a short trip for my husband and myself. We walked from the railway station and this hotel wasn't particularly easy to find. It would have been helpful to have been provided with a map with the booking confirmation.
The hotel is an ideal base from which to explore Rome. We did initially think it was a little way out from central Rome, but having discovered the underground was only a short walk from the hotel this was not a problem. You can buy a 3 day pass which can be used on all transport around Rome for a reasonable price and I would recommend getting one of these..
There were a number of bars/cafes in the vicinity and the local people were extremely welcoming.
I would recommend this hotel for a short break and would certainly return.
We were checked in as soon as we arrived, the man was very helpful and kind, gave us directions to nearby reataurants and bars, a map of central Rome and explained what transport I can use to get into central. Room was nice and clean, with a TV and a shared balcony, lovely bathroom. Only complaint will be that one evening when we got back at the hotel the door to our room was wide open, considering we left it locked, there was nothing missing, but not a pleasent surprise anyway.
Hotel was clean and staff very friendly and helpful. They assisted us with a map direction and booking a tour to the Vatican. Conveniently located close to bus stop and within walking distance to the train station. Located in a quiet neighborhood with restaurants and fruit stalls, ice-cream shops etc.
The only thing is that the hotel is not within walking distance to the historic sights, but easy to get to by train or bus.
Would stay there again.
Stayed in single room. Staff were very friendly and nice. Breakfast each morning was excellent with variety, even eggs, salami, toaster, coffee maker, pastries. The best breakfast by far of all hotels I stayed at. The downside was the single room I had had very, very thin walls and I could hear very loud noises and laughter. Unsure if it was uni students or guests. Very noisy and I was not able to rest. Wish I had another quieter room. Ask for quiet room. Staff and hotel in all other ways good. Kind girls at reception.
Nice clean Hotel with friendly, helpful staff with good English.
Hotel is well located for travelling around Rome with a metro station just 5 mins walk away.
Breakfast is served on a the top floor with good views of the surrounding area.
Garden area located at the back of the hotel for a glass of wine or beer after a long day of touring the city sites.
Not the best location - reasonably close to centre but cut off by rail tracks and nothing much (e.g. bars, restaurants) in immediate vicinity. Direct tram to main rail station.
Room adequate (en-suite bath even though description said shared). Good a/c.
Breakfast buffet low-end but edible, staff friendly, no problems.
The room is big and comfortable. Clean, modern and cosy hotel. Very helpful staff, they will text you (international mobile) before your arrival to arrange your check in. Breakfast not included and no dinning area, however there is a common area included drink and cooking faculties which you can used for free. Homemade cake available for free and they lovely.
Area may not be the best but still easy to get to most of the attraction. Staff will introduce all the transportation when you check in.
Bedroom is modern clean and big (big in rome), bed is comfortable. We had 3 nice nights, good recharged night after long walk during day time for all attraction.
The Rome Tiburtina railway station, one of the most important stations in the city, is located in the Tiburtina Est neighborhood. The area is also an excellent starting point for a visit to the famous San Lorenzo district, known for its nightlife, and for daytrips to the medieval town of Tivoli and its ancient villas such as Villa d'Este and Villa Gregoriana.
