First time staying at the Hampton Inn and finally knew why a few people I knew until I could would only stay at the Hampton Inns. Very friendly front desk staff. Had the best sleep ever and am sorry that I was only there for two nights. The rooms were immaculate and the dining are was clean and spacious. I saw a lot to people in the pool and Jacuzzi and they all looked very happy. On Saturday morning, there was plenty to eat with several options. However, the scrambled eggs looked and tasted more like chopped tofu than scrambled eggs normally do. I am a bacon (or sausage) and egg person so, I was not feeling the sausage and gravy that was there on Sunday morning. Unfortunately, I don't eat cold cereal or waffles either so I grabbed a hard boiled egg and coffee before checking out. I would definitely stay there again,
The booking for the room was easy and informative. The only glitch was a confirmed late check out on Sunday which was not honored. My conference wasn't over until 3:00 that day and my husband had to wait in the car with two dogs in the cold. The attendant on Sunday denied the 2:00 check out that was promised on Friday. Otherwise the stay was fine.
A large number of my family was staying at the Garden Inn after the death of my sister, and the staff could not have been more helpful. From the manager to the desk staff to the custodial staff, they reacted with kindness, flexibility and competence to a series of requests that we made. I never write hotel reviews, but had to in this case because the staff made a terribly difficult period so much for bearable for all of us.
Excellent hotel, rate and ease of booking online. We let the manager know upon checkout that the room smelled like an ashtray, not in a obnoxious way, just really noticeable into the late night hours. The manager apologized and said that a VIP pass would come in the mail to make up for this. We thanked her and said we would come back again. Service was exceptional and overall a great deal.
