Hilton @ Sac.

Posted 30-Mar-2015
Pros: Room was nice the Bar was great and so is the lobby.
Cons: Air-conditioning/heater needs upgrade...
Location: Location was good.
Everything was great with the exception of the room heater was so loud .. it sounded like a train inside the room every time it's on. And the Parking charges was high for Sacramento. Other than that the hotel was great.

Pros: Nothing /my husband says the food.
Cons: Security/secure elevator after hours
Location: Area is questionable
Loud party next door/rap music loud dirty language our room was so full of cigarette smoke it hung in the air and you could see it in the dark.front desk continued to allow people to go up the elevator to the Fifth floor for hours when they new they had problems. I have never experienced any thing like it before.save your money and sleep on a bar room floor

Not what we expected for the price

Posted 25-Mar-2015
- Average hotel amnesties. - Terrible view to some stone roof top :( - Small coffe maker which warmed the water not hot - no microwave - dirty, full of hair bath tub - no breakfast included - they gave us a break on $9 parking fee per day - every time we needed to get out of parking we had to call in for opening the gate even with the key they provided. Very very annoying - staff at front desk were nice and professional

Half updated half old

Posted 15-Mar-2015
This hotel was fine. I paid 69$ for it on a deal with Expedia and I think that's all it's worth. It's in the middle of nowhere in Sacramento, they Nickle and dime you (9$ a day parking, $6 bottle of water, etc), and it's half updated but half old. The lobby looks nice and new.. But the carpets/doors/fitness center all need a rennovation.

stay at Hilton Arden West

Posted 09-Mar-2015
Pros: see above
Cons: see above The parking could be improved by having a person taking tickets in and/or out. The kiosk ticket dispenser was confusing.
Location: There's a huge shopping mall nearby, but I didn't have time to go there.
The room I was assigned to was cramped, weird and totally unacceptable. I went back to the front desk and requested another room. They gave me one on the 2nd floor which was infinitely better. The staff were pleasant and friendly. I was surprised at the limited hours the restaurant was open. At least they served lunch in the lounge so it was okay. There was some kind of sports tournament being held nearby over the weekend. There were lots of families with kids of all ages. The problem was the noise level. Kids ran up and down the hallways outside our workshop room. It was distracting because we were working on meditation techniques. Kids also ran up and down the hallways quite late at night outside my room. I finally had to call the front desk to send security. Overall, I'd rate the experience in the medium range, not really what I expected from a Hilton hotel, but okay.

My First & Only Stay

Posted 03-Mar-2015
Pros: The room itself, the hamburger at the hotel restaurant, the hotel staff.
Cons: The breakfast buffet needs improving. More importantly, if your room faces the freeway, don't expect a good night's sleep.
Location: The hotel is close to a freeway, and the sound will make you think you're trackside at the Indy 500.
The hotel staff and the quality of the room itself were great... so was the hamburger I had in the hotel restaurant.

Cons: Room Refrigerators. More ice machines.
Location: Near downtown, airport and very near a great mall with lots of restaurants.
I had a short stay but we had wine in the bar both nights. We had a great waitress, Jennifer, who remembered us and gave us great service both nights.

Nice location

Posted 02-Feb-2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Need to clean the bathrooms and they need to have better food. The food was horrible and I had to pay for it.
They don't have complementary breakfast. And the bathroom was dirty.

not happy

Posted 18-Jan-2015 on Hotels.com
We arrived in our room happy until noticed they put us in room with double beds. I called down to get our room exchanged to a king which we reserved but they were sold out. Then I hear the elevator which was right next to us. I didn't always like staying at the Hilton but not this time. I called down again and spoke to the manager. She said all she could do is give me an inoperative room. So she gave a bad room but aleast we didn't have to be by the elevator. Next time I will stay elsewhere for over $200.00.
