“Perfect for my needs”

I was in town for a few days to do a bit of work and visit an old friend who lives in Van Nuys. The hotel is sort of U shaped with the long end backing up to the 405 and the short ends on Sepulveda. Those rooms may be a bit noisy, but my room was in the corner with the building shielding my from the sound of freeway traffic and was quiet during my stay. They were replacing all of the mattresses in the rooms which was good timing for me.

“Good Place to Stay”

Finally a hotel with enough bandwidth on their Wifi !!! Room was clean an comfortable. On Site Denny's is very helpful as was staff. I recommend this hotel to all of the cost conscience people who want a decent place to stay.

“Los Angeles Universal Studios vacation”

This hotel has very clean rooms and the service was excellent. It is also very conveniently located to get to and from Universal Studios from 405 and 101. Also if you need travelling supplies, there is a Target store 4 blocks away with extended hours. The only downside is that the hotel is near the expressway and there is noise during the morning and afternoon rush hours.

“Great place to stay.....”

My daughter and I stayed for six nights at this hotel. Service was excellent. They accidentally gave us wrong room number when we checked in. They called room to make sure we had found correct room and everything was okay. Room was very clean. Had coffee pot and refrigerator. There was four pillows plus a roll pillow on each queen bed. Beds were very comfortable. Lighting outside was very bright making you feel very safe. There are ice and soda vending machines on each floor. Elevator was older and a bit noisy but worked fine. We loved the 24 hour Denny's. They give you 10% off when you show your room key for dine-in only. They also provide room service for the hotel. We did not try heated outside pool or spa or exercise room.

Area recommendations

You are right by 405 Freeway which makes it easy to get places. Just make a note to leave very early for everything as Los Angeles traffic is terrible at every time of the day.

“Nice hotel, but bring earplugs!”

Hotel is situated on a main road - 4 lanes of traffic on each side, so it's very noisy day and night. Had to ask for room change after first night. Apart from that the rooms are nice size, lovely pillow top beds, nice furnishings and clean. Staff very helpful. There's a Denny's diner attached to it, so good value breakfast and meals available. Parking was ok. There's a small pool and hot tub in the grounds, but I didn't have time to use them. Hotel is close to shops and bus route.
